the Apollo SL40 VHF Communications Transceiver... an all-purpose
high-performance transceiver with features you're not likely to find
even in models twice the size and three times the price. All bundled
into a conveniently small 1.3" x 6.25" package. The
revolutionary Apollo SL40 with full featured communication in a small
footprint introduces the first model of the slimline series. The SL40
Communications Transceiver with 1.3 x 6.25 form factor and
sunlight-readable LED display technology. The SL40 Comm Transceiver,
(10-watts carrier transmit power) is TSO certified and features
direct access to National Weather Service information, automatic
standby frequency monitoring and more. The highly efficient design
and advanced circuitry of the SL models requires no additional
cooling. All Slimline units operate on 10 to 32 volt inputs without
the need or expense of a separate voltage converter. II Morrow has
always been at the market’s leading edge for long-range
navigation. The SL series meets the demand for high-quality and
includes many features previously unavailable in one unit.
